Pricing

Simple pricing. No feature tiers designed to obscure the real cost.

Crew Rise Mentor has a free tier for exploration and paid tiers for active use. The free tier is genuinely free — 5 Mentor questions per day, no credit card required. Paid tiers are unlimited. Sponsors have separate pilot and program pricing.

How it gets paid

Four ways to pay. One product.

Crew Rise supports four payer types. Your tier and features are the same regardless of who pays — payer type just describes where the invoice goes.

Self-pay

The apprentice pays directly. Individual subscription. Free tier available with no card required.

Employer-pay

The contractor or shop owner pays for their apprentices' subscriptions. Invoice goes to the employer account.

Sponsor-pay

The apprenticeship sponsor pays as part of program costs. Cohort or bench-rate pricing. Billed to the sponsor account.

Grant-pay

A workforce board, foundation, or grant program pays on behalf of apprentices. Crew Rise can invoice grant-eligible entities directly.

Individual tiers — Mentor access

Four tiers. Unlimited questions on every paid tier.

All paid tiers include unlimited Mentor interactions, full NEC curriculum access, and the Ask Code reference tool. The free tier is limited to 5 Mentor questions per day.

Common pricing questions

The questions we would want answered before committing.

What does the pilot cost for a sponsor?

The first cohort for one semester is free. We want you to see what the dashboard produces before you commit budget. After the pilot, program pricing is $59 per apprentice per month at scale. There are no per-lesson fees, no data export fees, and no premium tier that moves core features behind a higher price.

Can an apprentice use Mentor without being in a registered program?

Yes. Mentor is available as a standalone subscription for individual apprentices who are not in a formal sponsored program. The sponsor dashboard and RI compliance features require a sponsor account, but the voice mentor, lessons, Ask Code, and Vision features are available at the individual tier. An apprentice studying on their own, preparing for a journeyman exam, or working for a contractor who does not have a formal program yet can still use Crew Rise.

How does pricing work for sponsors versus contractors?

They are different accounts with different features. A sponsor account ($59/apprentice/month at scale) covers the Mentor voice interface for each apprentice, the full curriculum library, the sponsor dashboard with roll-up reporting and competency tables, the hours audit trail, and the Insights Loop reports. A contractor account (Phase 2, pricing TBD) covers the Office operations layer — jobcost, time tracking, forms, POs, vendor management, owner dashboard. Sponsors and contractors may be the same entity — a contractor who also runs a registered program — in which case they get both accounts and the cross-pollination features are fully available.

Is volume pricing available?

Volume pricing is available for programs with 20 or more apprentices. Contact us at admin@crewrise.app with your program name and approximate headcount and we will provide a cohort quote.
